Our History & Vision.

David White, Founder of Develop CENTS

David White, founder of Develop CENTS, had a dream: to put his IT knowledge and experience to use for small non-profit organizations and small businesses dedicated to improving their communities.

After graduating from Covenant College with a B.A. in Community Development, David spent a year working for AmeriCorps in Boston, followed by a stint at a Drupal services company. He then returned to Chattanooga, where he spent two years as an Internal Technical Support Specialist and Infrastructure Engineer before launching Develop CENTS in 2013, making his dream a reality.

CENTS is an acronym for Computing, Equipping, Networking, Training, and Supporting—these are our missions. As our clients are committed to developing their communities, we’re committed to developing their technology, and freeing their resources in better pursuit of their missions.

Our professional affiliations include the United Way’s Center for Nonprofits, the Chattanooga Technology Council, and the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce.
